Mechanics' Meetup 2019
After a year's break we held another mechanics' meetup – this time limited to 10 vehicles, at the Stover Strand campsite on the Elbe.

In Holzminden several small groups had formed, which didn't do the meetup as a whole any good.
From 23 to 25 August it was time for the meetup again. With 8 vehicles we were a nice, manageable group, and the participants already knew each other from previous meetups. The meetup took place at the Stover Strand campsite in Stove on the Elbe. Most participants arrived a few days early, and lively exchanges of experience were already under way.
It's always nice to see how the motorhomes change over the years. One participant had come to a meetup a few years ago with a motorhome he had almost completely stripped out inside, as he had only just bought it. In the meantime it has become a real gem. Once everyone had arrived, nothing stood in the way of a cosy evening together. The long table for the first barbecue was quickly set up.
Unfortunately we had to leave for home on Saturday at lunchtime, as there had been a small mishap at home. But that didn't mean the meetup was over – the others simply carried on enjoying each other's company without us.
