Lake Maggiore 2010
A few autumn days at Lake Maggiore with friends – at the Area Camper Oggebbio pitch with its own little terrace and a wonderful view of the lake.

In autumn we spent a few days at Lake Maggiore. We met up with other travellers near Darmstadt, and before setting off the little participants were welcomed too. We spent the first night at the Rust motorway service area, which charges a fee if you don't eat anything there. But we were hungry and had a lovely, fun evening.
Our destination was the "Area Camper Oggebbio" pitch at Lake Maggiore. The pitch is a little higher up and has a great view of the lake. An overnight stay costs 18 euros including electricity, fresh water and waste disposal. There are showers and toilets. Every pitch has its own little terrace with a lovely view. The village itself is picturesque and has lots of lovely little lanes to explore. In the evening we went to a pizzeria. The food was delicious and is highly recommended.
