Salt Lake 2017
In September 2017 we flew to Croatia for the first time – with a hire car, an apartment in Tisno and a four-boat trip to the salt lake and cliffs of Dugi Otok.

In September we flew to Croatia for the first time. A very relaxed flight straight from Hanover to Split, and after 1.5 hours we had already landed. We had booked a hire car through Hertz in advance.
Unfortunately the car itself was very dirty and already had lots of scratches and dents – but complaining is also very difficult. So we just closed our eyes and got on with it; at least the air conditioning worked perfectly.
Murter welcomed us with glorious sunshine. We quickly launched the boat and set off on the first short tour. We had a small apartment at Gina's with a lovely view over the Tisno channel. On a walk along the beach we discovered this stone. Can you see it too? The face in the stone. With 4 boats we made a trip to the salt lake, including a visit to the cliffs. A wonderful outing. In the afternoon we went to a konoba in the Kornati.
We drove to the MasVin winery near Biograd, but it didn't really appeal to us, so we left after 15 minutes. Unfortunately every holiday goes by so quickly, and after 11 days it was time to take the boat out, clean it and pack it up for the winter.
And a few hours later we were already sitting on the plane back to Hanover.
