Before this we had been in Pula 2021.
On the way we made stops in Poreč and Dvigrad. Dvigrad is a ruined town that was abandoned in 1631 and has been uninhabited ever since. Admission is free and there is parking.
Our next stop was Poreč. Here too we parked the camper in a large car park not far from the centre, costing 8 kuna per hour. Campers are not allowed in the car park (according to the sign), but it was so quiet that we simply parked there anyway. Note: there are two large car parks. One has a 2-metre height barrier at the entrance, so it can't be used by campers.
Then we walked into the centre (about 1 kilometre), and here too the lovely old lanes were well worth seeing.
In the afternoon we reached the Lighthouse campsite in Savudrija near Umag https://www.camp-lighthouse.hr/. We had already stayed here in September 2020, and as we liked it so much, we came back. Of course we had reserved in advance, which was necessary: the site has only just over 30 pitches and a super, clean and modern washroom.
