Ramsau am Dachstein 2010
On our way home from Croatia we cooled off for a few days at a small campsite at around 1,200 metres in Ramsau am Dachstein, with a fabulous view.

On the way home from Croatia we needed to cool off a bit, so we decided to spend a few days in the mountains. Our destination was a small campsite in Ramsau am Dachstein. The site lies at an altitude of about 1,200 metres and has a fabulous view.
The site costs 16 euros per night without electricity for a motorhome, 2 people and fresh water/waste disposal. You park your motorhome or caravan right on the edge of the mountain. The view was simply dreamlike. From the campsite you can set off on lovely hikes, bike rides and more. The road down into the valley to the motorway is very steep.
