The next day it was time to relax, as a sea day was due. We sweetened the day with a chocolate tasting, which we can only recommend: 6 euros to taste all these different varieties. A little tip: one serving was enough for both of us, as the chocolate is very filling.

In the evening the next exclusive restaurant was on the agenda: Surf & Turf, a steak restaurant. It was a great experience – great atmosphere, perfect service and the steak cooked exactly to the point.

Next day and another try with a TUI excursion. We had arrived in Gibraltar and had booked a tour with TUI in advance here too. The tour "By cable car to the Rock of the monkeys" for 27 euros started at 8.15 a.m., and the bus headed for the cable car. On the way there was a short photo stop at Europa Point. Just before the cable car, our guide received a call saying the cable car wasn't running because of strong winds and we would be taken back to the ship. On the way to the ship most guests got off to get up the mountain on their own. Less than 5 minutes later eight of us were sitting in a small bus that took us on the tour to the Rock with its monkeys: 2 hours with various stops for 20 euros per person. A great excursion and highly recommended.
