Ludwigsee

This wasn't just an outing – it was a thoroughly fantastic short-break festival for the soul! In August it was time to pack up the camper, turn up the good mood and head off to the Ludwigsee near Melle.

With a fantastic group of friends in tow, we had booked into the campsite. And what can we say? The site really pulled out all the stops to make life sweet for us. From the very first second, our heads automatically switched to holiday mode. No stress, no rush – but all the more laughter, shop talk and that incomparable feeling of freedom.

We enjoyed the days according to all the rules of the art:

• Pure relaxation: simply unwinding, putting your feet up and enjoying life in the best of company. That's exactly how camping has to be!

• Food & coffee breaks: what could be nicer than sipping your first fresh black coffee in the morning with the best of views and making plans together?

• Time flies too fast: you've barely settled in properly and brought out the best anecdotes, you blink once – and it's Sunday again.

As always with the really good times, the hours flew by. On Sunday we headed home with heavy hearts, but with fully recharged batteries and in the best of moods. One thing is rock-solid after this weekend: this definitely wasn't our last motorhome adventure together!
