Eschede is about 50 km north-east of Hanover, right on the B191. Our destination wasn't the town of Eschede itself, but Joe Bodemann's nearby film animal park (more info) in Höfer (about 8 km from Eschede).
You can't stay overnight in the film animal park's car park, as dogs roam free there at night.
The motorhome pitch in Eschede is right on the main road. But as it is set back a little, you are guaranteed a quiet night.
The pitch itself is free.
Fresh water and waste disposal are available right at the pitch. Waste disposal is free; fresh water costs 1 euro.
