Hann. Münden is in the Göttingen district. As this is where the Werra and the Fulda join to form the Weser, the town is also known as the "three rivers town". As our base for the weekend, we went to the "Grüne Insel Tanzwerder" pitch.
The pitch lies right between the rivers and is only a 5-minute walk from the historic old town.
The motorhome pitch is suitable for large vehicles and is very quiet. There is plenty of electricity from coin machines, and an overnight stay for a motorhome costs 5 euros. Fresh water and waste disposal are available.
Only this bridge separates the pitch from the old town.
Shops (bakery, supermarket etc.) can be found right on the market square. The bakery is also open on Sundays.

On the "green island" between the rivers, where the Werra and Fulda become the Weser. Very quiet, suitable for large vehicles, only 5 minutes' walk over the bridge to the historic old town.
