Holzminden (a ProMobil top-rated site) lies in the beautiful Weser Uplands. The site is divided into a campsite and a large meadow in front of it, where around 80–100 motorhomes can find space.
An overnight stay without electricity costs 6.50 euros, electricity 0.60 euros per kWh, fresh water and waste disposal 1 euro each.
There are no rules about how you have to park on the pitch, so the motorhomes can be grouped together very nicely.
Right next to the pitch is a large supermarket, open until 8 p.m. every day, but it causes no noise.
On the other side is the Weser, although you can't see it from the meadow pitch. The Holzminden indoor and outdoor pool borders directly on the site, so you can go swimming at any time. The town centre is easy to reach over a bridge – about a 5-minute walk. There is another pitch option right on the Weser, but it can only be used in summer.
The site is very clean. It is run by Wilfried Wagner, who is almost always on site and keeps an eye on things. A special service is the bread roll and newspaper delivery: simply place your order in the evening, and the next morning everything is waiting at your motorhome.
For us this site is simply lovely, and we go there very often for a change of scene.

ProMobil top site in the Weser Uplands: large meadow in front of the campsite for 80 to 100 motorhomes, no fixed layout. Supermarket right next door, indoor and outdoor pool adjoining, 5 minutes over the bridge into town. Very clean, bread roll and newspaper service. One of our favourite sites, which we visit often.
