We spent the weekend at the small "In Vössen" campsite. The campsite is in a small suburb of Porta Westfalica, right on the Weser.
The site is on a former farm. The owners are very obliging, helpful and friendly. Electricity, showers and toilets are available.
Prices: 14.60 euros per night for 2 adults with a motorhome, without electricity.
The area is lovely for hiking. The nearest shops are in Porta Westfalica, about 8 kilometres away. The only drawback is the nearby motorway, which can be clearly heard.
