Godelheim lies near Höxter in the Weser Uplands. As we had already received so many good recommendations for this area, it was right at the top of our list.
The motorhome pitch is right next to the Höxter-Godelheim leisure area. The lake is only a few metres away. The pitches are separated by hedges. There is no electricity.
Waste disposal is available nearby. There is a fee for the pitch: an overnight stay costs 6 euros, payable at the machine.
As it wasn't busy, we were able to use the remaining space for badminton. The lake has a great sandy beach and invites you to splash around. Höxter can be reached by bike in a few minutes. The town centre is beautiful.
