In 2016 we went to the Dreiländersee lake near Gronau. The pitch is right on the border with the Netherlands. Our satnav took the direct route to the pitch, and we felt as if we had travelled back in time: a single-track, narrow field path.
Interestingly, we weren't the only ones who had come to the pitch this way (all of 5 kilometres).
We had barely arrived on the grass pitch when the barbecue was set up. There are several places to park with all sorts of different surfaces.
You can arrive at any time at this paid pitch. Fresh water and waste disposal are available and can also be used by large motorhomes.
We walked to Gronau – about 8 kilometres.

Right on the Dutch border, grass and other surfaces, arrival possible at any time, service point suitable for large motorhomes too. Note: our satnav took us 5 km along a narrow single-track farm road – better follow the signs.
