A weekend in Slagharen in the Netherlands – an idyllic campsite with pools, restaurants and a huge amusement park, all for 80 euros for two nights.

We set off for Slagharen for a weekend. Slagharen is about 330 kilometres from Hanover in the lovely Netherlands. The idyllically situated campsite has everything you could wish for: an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, clean washrooms, a supermarket, several restaurants and, best of all, a huge amusement park. For 2 nights including electricity and admission to the amusement park, we only paid 80 euros.
Use of the outdoor pool is included in the price, but it was still a bit too cold. We simply had to try the log flume.
