Day 1: Departure from Kiel
Our journey began in Kiel, a picturesque port city in Germany. Embarking on AIDAnova was an experience in itself. The ship gleamed in the sun, and the anticipation among the passengers was almost palpable. After a smooth check-in and a warm welcome from the crew, we finally set sail for Norway.
Day 2: At sea
We spent the first day at sea, and AIDAnova offered us countless options for entertainment. Whether in the infinity pool, the Theatrium or one of the many restaurants, there was always something to discover. Particularly impressive was the glass foyer, which offered a breathtaking view of the sea.
Day 3: Bergen, Norway
Our first stop was Bergen, Norway's second-largest city. We had booked the excursion "Pure nature at the Hardangerfjord" through AIDA. Our trip to the Hardangerfjord was made unforgettable not only by the breathtaking nature but also by an outstanding bus driver. Unfortunately our local guide, Judith, wasn't so good. The drive to the Hardangerfjord was scenically impressive but also demanding, as the roads were often winding and narrow.
