Impressions:
• Quality of the food: good
• Presentation & show element: entertaining
• Total price: 119 euros per person
The concept of a menu with an accompanying show is interesting, but compared with the already very good inclusive restaurants on board, the added value is put into perspective.
Verdict: solid, but not worth a repeat visit.
119 euros per person is a confident price – especially when the value for money isn't entirely convincing, subjectively speaking.
The third day began without a port – a classic sea day on the Atlantic, heading for Madeira. The sea was calm, the sky cloudless, and the sun was already creating a real holiday feeling in the morning.
After a leisurely breakfast at Hofdeck – relaxed, without time pressure – we continued exploring the ship. A sea day is ideal for discovering all the areas that often get neglected on port days:
decks, lounges, quiet retreats with sea views – everywhere that special mix of space and serenity.
In the late morning a visit to the spa was on the agenda. The massage was excellent – professional, calm and perfectly tailored.
• pleasant atmosphere
• subtle music
• a view of the sea
• complete relaxation
You could feel the tension of everyday life finally falling away. A sea day offers exactly this luxury: time.
In the evening we went to the theatre for the burlesque show – a stylish, aesthetic stage programme with a touch of nostalgia.
