The stroll through town offered the chance for:
- small shops
- souvenirs
- a café stop in the sun
- relaxed watching of harbour life
No overloaded programme – just a calm, sunny island day with maritime flair.
The last evening on board – and at the same time the last evening together with friends.
Once again we went to the Atlantik restaurant, where we looked back on the trip over good food and lots of conversation. It was that special mix of gratitude, wistfulness and the feeling of wanting to savour every moment. Then a few more cocktails at the bar, laughter, sharing memories – and the thought: A week passes so quickly.
The next day came the last stop on Gran Canaria. The return flight to Hanover left at 5.20 p.m., so there was still time to enjoy the last hours on the ship. Standing on deck once more, letting our gaze wander over the sea, soaking up the sun and the atmosphere. No more programme, no time pressure – just enjoying.
A wonderful holiday comes to an end.
Lots seen, lots experienced, lots of laughter. New impressions, shared moments, little adventures and big memories.
And as so often, one thing above all remains at the end:
the anticipation of the next trip.
