Then on to the next highlight. The Passat in Travemünde is a real highlight on the Baltic and delights visitors with its charm and fascinating history. The historic sailing ship, a traditional four-masted barque, invites you to immerse yourself in the maritime world and learn more about seafaring in times gone by.
Getting to the Passat is particularly convenient and environmentally friendly: the passenger ferry crossing costs just 2 euros per person. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh sea breeze and the lovely view of the Baltic at the same time. The ferry takes visitors directly and comfortably to the ship, which makes the trip even more enjoyable.
Admission to the Passat costs 7 euros, which is absolutely fair for what you get. You can explore the ship, discover the various decks and be enchanted by the maritime atmosphere. Particularly impressive are the lovingly restored details and the story the ship tells.
The Passat is a wonderful place to spend a day by the sea, unwind and experience maritime culture. Whether families, couples or solo travellers – everyone gets their money's worth here and can collect unforgettable memories.
On the last day the sun came out, and we explored the area by bike, discovering great views of the Baltic.
