We had wanted to do the ABC tour in the Caribbean for a long time, and in November 2023 the time had finally come.

On the first day of the AIDA cruise from La Romana we had a restful sea day, dominated by relaxation and massages. The voyage through the Caribbean got off to a calm start, and we could enjoy the ship's amenities. The chance to be pampered with a massage helped make our first day on board a relaxed experience. We could enjoy the vastness of the sea and look forward to the adventure ahead in the Caribbean.

The AIDA fan meeting took place on the first sea day. At 11 a.m. sharp, over 50 fans met in the Anytime Bar together with some officers for drinks.

The island of Aruba, an idyllic paradise in the southern Caribbean, is known for its dreamlike beaches and turquoise waters. Aruba is one of the so-called ABC islands in the Caribbean.

In Aruba we had already booked an excursion with Aruba Tours To Go in advance. At 8.45 a.m. sharp we met at the cruise terminal. At 9 a.m. our tour began by bus in a small group. Our first stop was Aruba's only factory: Aruba Aloe – a 150-hectare plantation and a small factory where this medicinal plant is processed by hand, with a small museum. After a tour we continued to the bizarre rock formations of Casibari. The Casibari rock formations lie in the heart of Aruba, near the village of Paradera, and offer visitors a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
