A special highlight was the ride on the historic "Gråkallbanen" tram, which is considered the northernmost tram in the world. The nostalgic carriages and the leisurely ride through the green hills and suburbs of Trondheim made us feel as if we were travelling back in time.

Then we visited Kristiansten Fortress, which towers high above the city. The 17th-century fortress offered not only fascinating insights into the city's history but also a glorious panoramic view of Trondheim and the surrounding landscape.

After the cultural part of the tour, there was still time for a stroll through the city. We stopped at a typical café and met some nice people from the ship. We walked through the charming lanes, visited small shops and enjoyed the atmosphere by the river Nidelva. Particularly impressive was the view of the colourful warehouses and the famous Gamle Bybro, the old town bridge.

In the afternoon we returned to the port, full of unforgettable impressions of Trondheim. The mix of history, culture and beautiful nature made this excursion a special experience.

Our AIDA trip took us to the small but charming coastal town of Måløy on Norway's west coast. As we were only in port until 1 p.m., we used the time for a short but intense impression of this special town.

On our first walk through Måløy we noticed the artistically painted house walls. The large murals told stories of the town, from fishing to scenes of everyday life. This creative design gave Måløy a very special charm.
