Day 6: Arrival in Dresden
The drive to Dresden went completely smoothly: just under 300 kilometers, entirely free of traffic jams. Along the way, we made a stopover at Outlet Schwarzheide—originally with the clear division of roles that Petra would shop and I would hold back. As so often happens, things turned out completely differently: Petra came away empty-handed, and I found something!
In the afternoon, we reached our destination for the next four days: Campingplatz Wostra in Dresden. Having been here last year, we immediately felt right at home on this lovely campsite near the River Elbe. A major bonus: our friends live only about a 15-minute walk away.
To settle in, we went for a cold drink at the Radler Bar on the Elbe and then took a quick bike ride into the city center. In the evening came the perfect surprise: our friends suddenly appeared at the motorhome, and together we brought the day to a cozy close.
