After a quiet, restful night at a spot near the Herefossen waterfall, we continued our journey northwards. Our destination was the Softestad campsite, where we wanted to spend the next two days.
The site is beautifully located right on the water and captivates with its idyllic setting. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the family atmosphere. The owner, Anne, welcomes her guests very warmly – with a cup of coffee or tea as a greeting. This personal touch immediately makes you feel welcome and makes the stay particularly pleasant.
The pitches are generously laid out and offer a glorious view over the water. In the evening, as the sun slowly sinks behind the hills, the light is reflected in the lake, creating a unique atmosphere. The whole site is well kept, the sanitary facilities are clean, and there's everything you need for a relaxing stay.
A place that captivates with its tranquillity, closeness to nature and Anne's warm hospitality – perfect for unwinding for a few days.
