After a great, quiet night we continued our journey. In glorious weather we reached our next destination: Vøringsfossen. With a drop of 182 metres, it's one of Norway's best-known waterfalls – a breathtaking spectacle as the water plunges into the narrow gorge of Måbødalen. A truly impressive natural wonder!

But one waterfall wasn't enough for us – so we also stopped at Tvindefossen. This picturesque waterfall drops about 110 metres in many fine cascades. Particularly impressive is its wide, fan-like shape, which makes it one of the most popular photo subjects in the region.

Our last stop of the day was Stegastein. This spectacular viewing platform juts 30 metres out from the mountain and hovers 650 metres above the Aurlandsfjord. The view over the fjord landscape is simply unforgettable – an absolute highlight of the trip.

To round off the day, we found a small spot to spend the night right on the fjord – the perfect place to end this impressive day.
